6 Month Stats:
Well, since I only have a couple of more days to post this :( now is as good of a time as ever!
-You weight about 19 pounds and still in the top %!
-You are in size 3 diapers.
-You are sitting up on your own very well!
-You are still eating baby food and LOVE it!
-You love to make all kinds of noises.
-You love playing in the middle of the living room floor with all your toys.
-You’re drinking up to 8 oz. in milk.
-You have grown a lot more hair!
-You still don’t have any teeth yet, but that’s ok.
-You’ve gotten a couple of colds and it is pitiful to see you sick. :(
-You are on all fours and rocking back and forth and as of 9-12-10 you are CRAWLING!! Woo hoo!
-You don’t really like getting your diaper changed anymore and wiggle around A LOT!
-You also laugh really hard when your Daddy and I make fools of ourselves to see your priceless smile.
-You started daycare at Calvary and everyone there loves you to death. They all say you are the best baby!
Leah, you are an amazing daughter and I have more and more fun everyday that I get to spend with you. I love being your Mom and will do anything in this lifetime for you. You make me a better person and you bring so much joy to mine and your Daddy’s lives. These past 6 months have been a true whirlwind, but I wouldn’t trade them for anything in this world and I am so looking forward to all the fun memories we get to share in the future! I love you.

This summer has been so much fun with you…I’m soaking up every moment I have with you which is the reason why I haven’t written on here lately. But since you turned 4 months on the 15th, I thought I should write a little update to tell what you’ve been up to lately! BTW this picture is of you at your 4 mo Dr. visit before you got your shots. You were so happy until they stuck you! I just keep telling myself that they’re only going to help you! :)
4 Month Stats:
-You are 15.14 pounds and in the 95%.
-You are 26 1/4 inches long and in the 97%!
-You are still in 1-2 size diapers. You have a little waist and chubby legs. It’s so cute!
-You are drinking 5-6 ounces of milk every feeding.
-You have started eating a serving of rice cereal close to your last feeding (so it will fill your belly up for sleeping).
-You are sleeping like a crazy woman! Most nights you get to sleep around 9:30 or 10 and you sleep good until about 3 or so. We’re trying to wean you off of a feeding at night because your Dr. said your stomach was big enough to sleep through the night. So we try and wait to feed you around 5 or 6 in the morning.
-We do have those random, glorious nights where you fall asleep around 9:30 and don’t make a peep until 5 or 6…woo hoo…we’re getting closer!
-You’re still rolling over like a champ!
-You love your bumbo seat now and will sit in it for a good 20 minutes happily!
-You and sheepy are still best friends and he lulls you to sleep at every nap time and bed time!
-You are reaching and playing with more and more toys which is so cute!
-You are laughing and giggling more (you seem to laugh more with Daddy, which I love because I get to watch!)
-We are practicing sitting up…you are getting stronger and stronger everyday!
-No teeth yet…although it could be pretty soon!
-You’ve been on your first beach trip and you LOVED it! You’re a girl after your mother’s heart…a beach bum!
-Your little bald spot is starting to fill in! :)
Leah, you are growing so fast and I love watching you every minute of every day! You are such a good baby and your daddy and I are so blessed to have you for a daughter! We love you little!

Sarah
Dear Leah,Today is the last day our dear friend Sarah will watch you. She so graciously agreed to take care of you when I had to go back to work. She has played “mommy” to you since the last week in March up until today. I could not think of a more better person to take on the role of ‘me’ while I was gone!
I’m sure you and her will be very close for a long time and I’m sure Sarah has created some great memories with you! Your Daddy and I will be forever grateful for her and words will never express our gratitude towards her! I will be sure to tell you all about her as you grow older and I know you and her will have many more experiences together in the future!!

A milestone
Yesterday on May 18th, 2010 you did two big things!
1) You rolled over!! Yay!!!
2) You laughed! It was so cute!
Your Daddy wasn’t too happy because this just means you are getting older. But on the other hand, we both are ecstatic and can’t wait to see what else you’ll do soon! We are so proud!

3 Months Old:
This past Saturday, May 15th, you turned 3 months old! You have already changed so much since you were born and you are doing so many more things!!
I’m not sure exactly how much you weigh right now, but I can only guess it’s near the 14 or 15 lb. mark. You don’t go back to the Doctor’s until you’re 4 months, so I won’t know until then.
You are eating a healthy 5 oz. about every 3.5 hrs or so.
You are still waking up once a night around 2 or 3pm to eat. You do have random nights where you’ll sleep through the night (which is glorious)!
You are in size 1 diapers, but they are quickly growing too small :(
You absolutely LOVE to stand up (with Mommy or Daddy’s help of course) and get bored easily laying down or propped up against something.
You love to fall asleep in your swing on the highest setting.
Your best friend is “sheepy” who plays ocean sounds and lulls you to sleep every night and when he turns off, your eyes automatically pop open.
You are getting big enough and strong enough to pop out of your swaddling blanket no matter how tight I seem to get it (no!!). This is huge because swaddling you is what keeps you asleep longer!
You are still sleeping in your cradle upstairs with Mom and Dad.
You are trying your hardest to roll over and get so frustrated when you can only get so far.
You are smiling and cooing a lot more and you are sooo close to laughing!
You have been to church twice and each time they said you were such a happy and easy baby! Yay!
Leah, you bring so much joy to mine and your Daddy’s life and there’s no way we could ever imagine life without you. You are a true blessing and it is such an honor to be called your parents. We love you little!

Dear Leah,
You wrote me the sweetest Mother’s Day card any Mom could have ever gotten! I think Daddy might have helped you write it, but he told me you whispered everything in his ear for him to write.
You are such a sweet girl and I love everything about you! Thank you for my sweet letter…I will cherish it forever! Tomorrow you will be 3 months and I can’t believe it! You are a beautiful little girl and I enjoy so much watching your little face change day by day. You are a blessing!

Dear little one,
Today you are 10 weeks old! Man, time flies! I have loved every second with you and I am trying to take in every moment I have with you. This us you in the bath. We have bath time every night as part of your bed time routine and you LOVE it! You are so sweet and I love you to pieces!
